We are building a SaaS that automates SEO for eCommerce stores. You will have
a strong say in the data engineering direction and architecture as we take our
proof-of-concept to a production ready SaaS.
The existing implementation is built in Python using BigQuery as the data
store, and you will be tasked with expanding and scaling this, adding richer
features and robustness.
The team has years of experience in SEO for eCommerce, and know there is a
clear need for this product. This is a very exciting time to join Blink and
help the vision come to life.
##### **What we are looking for...**
* You have 4+ years experience building software
* You are well versed in Python
* You have experience with testing software
* Ideally you have built a large data platform before
##### **Essential skills & experience**
* Designing and building end-to-end data solutions
* Strong Python & SQL skills
##### **Desirable skills & experience**
* BigQuery
* Google Cloud Platform/AWS
* Building API end points, and appropriate design patterns
* Producing high coverage unit and integration tests
* Turning Jupyter notebooks and python POCs into production-ready code
* Experience working with CI/CD
* Experience with an established ETL pipeline technology, i.e. Airflow
* Working in an engineering team and collaborating on user stories
