**Role and Responsibilities**
We are actively expanding our software development team to meet the growing
demand for our products. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the
design, development, and testing of a cutting-edge web application, helping to
deliver a seamless, intuitive, and innovative user experience.
In this role, we expect you to:
* Build web components using React to support new application features.
* Help optimize the application for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or stakeholders.
* Help implement back-end services to support application features.
* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
* Assist with maintenance of production and development environments.
**Qualifications and Educational Requirements**
Successful candidates must have the following:
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years professional experience as a front-end or full-stack software developer.
* A proven track record of developing compelling web applications using React or a similar, modern front-end framework.
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
* Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest.
* Knowledge of Git and modern development workflows.
* Familiarity with build tools such as webpack.
The ideal candidate will also have:
* Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
* Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a results-oriented approach to assignments.
* Experience working independently and with distributed teams.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
* Experience with Java and the Spring framework.
* Experience with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js or D3.js.
* Experience with Apache Solr, MySQL, and MongoDB.
* Experience with Python.
* Experience with code review tools such as Review Board.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
