**Job Description**
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our
team and function as the lead of the frontend team. This role will involve
leading software development projects end to end, mentoring other developers,
and contributing to the design and architecture of our software solutions. As
a Senior Frontend Developer, you will own significant parts of what our users
interact with on a daily basis. Although design and UX skills are not
required, we are looking for someone with a passion for understanding user
needs as well as building intuitive interfaces that delight.

**Responsibilities**
* Software Development: Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications. Write high-quality code, adhering to established company coding standards and best practices. Review and refactor existing code to ensure its quality and scalability.
* Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level software engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and CS to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Lead the technical design of software solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and business goals.
* Continuous Improvement:
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company's software remains cutting-edge.
* Propose and drive the adoption of best practices, tools, and processes to enhance software development efficiency.
* Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality.
* Project Management:
* Estimate project timelines, ensuring that projects remain on schedule.
* Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, prioritizing effectively.
* Communicate project status, issues, and deliverables regularly to stakeholders.
* Collaboration & Communication:
* Foster a collaborative environment within the software development team and other departments.
* Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Work closely with the product management team to define requirements and ensure product objectives are met.
**Minimum Qualifications**
* 5+ years (ideally 7+) of relevant work experience on an engineering team
* 5+ years of experience with either with a modern web framework such as React or Angular
* Familiarity with TypeScript
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* GraphQL
* JavaScript/TypeScript build tools
* Figma
* HIPAA compliance experience
