### **What will you do?**
Senior Product Managers (PMs) at Axial lead all aspects of the product
development process, from research and ideation to working with world-class
engineers to launch great experiences and technology for our users. As a PM,
you will be a leading member of a multi-disciplinary team of product
development, UX design, and data professionals who collaborate closely to
build products that are transforming the private capital markets.
PMs at Axial are customer-centric, data-driven, and critical thinkers that
possess a strong understanding of technical application development, good
design sense, and an exceptional ability to interpret and translate user
behavior into high-impact products.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* **Help define our roadmap.** Work with Product leadership and internal stakeholders to define our 12-18 month roadmap based on a deep understanding of the Axial mission, stakeholder feedback, marketplace research & data analysis.
* **Define and prioritize work**. Collaborate with senior business leaders and other internal stakeholders to balance the art and the science of feature prioritization. Use a data-driven approach to make decisions and fail fast when necessary.
* **Design elegant solutions**. In collaboration with your UX and engineering partners, design highly discoverable and impactful product experiences that delight our users.
* **Document Epics, User Stories, Release Plans and more.** Create the necessary artifacts to communicate with internal stakeholders, enable the engineering team to execute with minimal ambiguity and bring new capabilities effectively to market.
* **Empower cross-functional teams.** Drive maximum business impact by partnering with Engineering, UX, Go To Market, Marketing and Executive teams.
* **Lead agile teams.** Drive the team and yourself to continuously inspect, adapt, and improve.
### **Who are we looking for?**
* 6-10 years of professional experience in a product-centric role. Preferably in a technology, marketplace, or high-growth company.
* You are passionate about solving problems. You often wake up in the middle of night with fresh and elegant solutions to nagging user problems.
* You obsess over delighting users. You can demonstrate that you delivered a product that was fit for purpose based on deep user empathy gathered from user research, prototyping & design reviews, analyzing data and studying usage behaviors.
* You take pride in your work. You are your toughest critic and set a bar of excellence for your colleagues.
* You are a strong communicator. You understand that analysis must be presented in meaningful ways and engage in spirited discussions about the findings. You have the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* You are a self-starter. You’re comfortable acting autonomously in ambiguous or fluid environments.
* Bonus: Experience in the world of finance, especially M&A / private capital markets.
* ** _The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this position is $160,000 - $220,000_** *
