**The Role: Sr. iOS Engineer**

Autobooks is looking for a talented and skilled engineer to help take charge
and lead our iOS development efforts, through the design of SDK’s, partner
integrations, and overall mobile application development. The software you’ll
build will help small businesses get paid easier and faster. We partner with
financial institutions to integrate Autobooks directly into consumer and
business banking applications. The SDKs and mobile experiences you’ll be
responsible for building abstract the complexities of receiving payments,
sending invoices, and more.

As a Sr. iOS Engineer, you'll build SDKs that serve Autobooks’ partners and
modern mobile experiences that serve their small business customers!

**The Responsibilities:**
• Design, develop and distribute Autobooks iOS SDKs to integrate with
financial partners
• Develop new features and improvements in our Autobooks iOS SDK
• Collaborate with other Autobooks engineering teams to design and integrate
new payments-related APIs
• Support the integration of Autobooks iOS SDKs for key Autobooks financial
institution partners
• Apply and promote iOS development best practices in order to keep a high-
quality development process in our SDK
• Develop automated unit and integration testing and continuous integration to
ensure high-quality software releases to our partners and mobile applications
• Stay current on modern iOS technologies including Swift UI and Swift Package
Manager as well as community expectations for high-quality framework
interfaces and documentation
• Work with the Autobooks product and design teams to ensure customer demand
is met through the user experiences offered via our SDK

**The Requirements:**
• 3+ years of professional iOS software development experience
• Highly proficient in iOS development using Swift, Swift UI, and the latest
iOS development tools
• You have built, documented, shipped, and maintained iOS SDKs and frameworks
that other engineers have integrated into production applications
• Interested in taking a product-first approach to engineering, making sure
that the end customer’s needs are represented and considered during the
development cycle
• Enjoy working on mobile apps at all levels – from networking to user
interfaces and whatever's in between.
• Build high availability and resilient systems that accept and report
payments regardless of network or device conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to ship features and make
technical trade-offs according to business appetite and outcomes.
• Work with product managers and designers to refine and define product scope.
• Respond to customer feedback to improve our products.
• Work as a “manager of one”, able to be given high-level direction and
timeline (often 4 – 6 weeks) using software development as the primary means
to achieve an objective within a cross-functional team
