##### Job Description :
We are looking for a dynamic remote **Cloud Network Engineer** to plan,
implement, support, maintain, and optimize the network hardware, software, and
communications links of the company’s cloud infrastructure.
##### **Responsibilities:**
* In a AWS cloud environment, plans, evaluates, coordinates, tests, installs and successfully implements new and existing hardware and software across physical media, protocol stacks, switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection devices, and other network components
* Experience with updating and deploying Infrastructure as Code pipelines in AWS using CICD, maintaining, and updating YAML, JSON, and Python files
* Performs problem isolation and resolution of network problems through troubleshooting and devising effective solutions
* Maintains technical expertise in all relevant areas of VPC networks including cloud and on premises hardware and software interconnection and interfacing
* Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, Wireless Access Points
* Knowledge of protocols OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, 802.11, static routing, Spanning Tree, port channel, ARP, Firewall NAT and access lists
* Installs patches and maintains accurate records of network changes and patch/update levels
* Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installations monitoring, maintenance, IA, performance measurement, usage and reporting
* Performs updates to network devices including firewalls, NIDS, switches, routers and crypto devices
* Perform hybrid cloud network implementations in Azure and AWS
* Proficient with Network Equipment such as Sonic Wall and Fortinet firewalls, switches, and Wireless access points.
* Network services, such as load balancers, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP and network monitoring tools within AWS and other systems.
* Perform assessments of existing client network infrastructures and document "as-is " environments
* Understanding of 802.1x
* Respond to and resolve help desk requests (Tier 2 and 3)
* Other duties as assigned
##### **Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
* 3+ year AWS experience preferred
* Experience in migration of hosted applications to a cloud environment
* Hybrid Cloud Architecture experience
* AWS Certifications (Architect Associate Level)
* Experience configuring and software-based (IPsec & SSL) VPN solutions
* Experience in utilizing Wide Area Networks (WAN) from major carriers to connect datacenters with Cloud Service Providers (CSP)
* Solid knowledge and experience with network technologies, including integration and deployment methodologies, operations and support, and troubleshooting and restoration
* Able to identify, troubleshoot, and solve complex network-related problems
* Able to work in a fast paced complex and dynamic environment
* Poise under pressure and comfort with ambiguity
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Organization abilities and team collaboration skills
* Solution orientation to problem resolution and process improvement
