**This Opportunity**
Due to our success, we are seeking an entry level to mid-level professional to
join our team and fill the role of **Software Engineer 1** located at our
offices in Louisville, Colorado. This position requires a high level of
proficiency in both scientific and embedded applications. Additionally, a
skill set in Software Configuration Management and experience in project
driven software builds is required. Applicants must have a passion for
innovation and ability to work in a collaborative environment while delivering
on individual assignments.
**Your Impact**
**Software Development (80%)**
* Design software solutions for various projects for both customers and R&D
* Create documentation for software design, requirement and specification
* Convert various languages into C to improve speed in both scientific and embedded applications
**Software Configuration Management (20%)**
* Design and implement software builds/environments
* Create documentation for Software Configuration Management design, requirement, and specification
* Learn/Utilize new software applications for development
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field
* 3+ years’ experience
* Linux/Unix/Python/Java/JavaScript
* High level proficiency in C
* Proficiency in other languages
* Active security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Proficiency in IDL, MATLAB
* Familiar with Firmware software development
* Payload, BUS or Mission Operations Software development
* Cloud development (AZURE / AWS)
