Join AMLI Residential's team in Atlanta as our new IT Systems Engineer. The IT
Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration and management of
systems and infrastructure that enable the efficient deployment and
maintenance of servers and end-user computers, laptops, and devices. The IT
Systems Engineer will perform project, maintenance, and support tasks,
ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role
requires collaboration with team members to maintain consistency with company
strategy and goals while following established best practices. Hybrid
position, flexibility to Work from Home up to 2 days per week.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:**
* Manage and administer Microsoft Intune and MECM for deploying OS and software packages.
* Utilize and administer software solutions, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, Intune MDM, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft Exchange Online.
* Manage end-user equipment standards and hardware lifecycles.
* Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Council to ensure system security.
* Develop and optimize endpoint hardware operating system images and software packages.
* Plan and complete the deployment of systems for on-site projects.
* Serve as escalated support for the Helpdesk, providing advanced end-user support.
* Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
* Communicate effectively with inter-departmental personnel to ensure timely resolution and completion of projects and support issues.
##### **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**
* High School Diploma or GED required; BA/BS degree in Information Technology preferred.
* Three plus years of experience in troubleshooting, supporting, implementing, and maintaining IT Infrastructure systems, software, and equipment.
* Knowledgeable regarding currently available technology solutions and proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Windows.
* Deep understanding of Windows OS, MECM, or similar enterprise management software, hardware, and application dependencies.
* Working knowledge of AD, Group Policy, file and print sharing, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Online, VMware vSphere, hardware, and software.
* Knowledge of monitoring and reporting tools such as Nagios, PRTG, and Lansweeper.
* Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions, including software and best practices.
* Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls sufficient to collaborate with the Network and Telcom team.
* Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python is a plus.
