**YOUR IMPACT & RESPONSIBILITIES**
• Ideate strategies and algorithms to run Alpaca’s Automated Vault (AV)
product profitably
• Lead the analyses effort including backtests to verify hypotheses and
potential new strategies
• Monitor operations and identify improvement areas based on live AV
performance
• Work with the head of product to define the necessary guard rail parameters
to mitigate risks
• Work with the engineering team to define the required functions and
executions of the vaults
• Explore other yields generating strategies beyond liquidity providing on CL
AMM
**REQUIREMENTS**
• Experience in market making or algorithmic trading
• Good understanding of the functioning of Automated Market Maker (AMM),
including the concept of Concentrated Liquidity (CL)
• Basic understanding of DeFi protocols and ecosystem
• Proficient in scripting language for backtest
• Strong research and analytical mindset with an open-minded attitude
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional
teams in a remote work environment
