As Head of Engineering at Agio, you’ll be joining a pioneering and results-
oriented team bringing a new product to market. We’re excited to bring on a
leader who enjoys the challenge of building scalable architectures that
support rapid growth. The Head of Engineering will work closely with our
leadership team to ensure that our roadmap aligns with our customers’ needs.
Strong communication skills and an ability to attract and retain top talent

Responsibilities
* Optimize our architecture for speed and simplicity as we test our product in the market
* Manage and mentor a team of engineers focused on successfully evolving our MVP
* Support code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging, ticketing, backlog pruning, etc.
* Collaborate with our Head of Product & Head of Research to refine the product roadmap
* Facilitate quick feedback loops, both from customer testing and internal development, and drive the team to make business-driven adjustments to the product
* Uphold a culture of continuous improvement in the team’s code and processes
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience managing teams of software engineers
* Strong grasp of best practices for code quality, testing, and performance
* Prior work experience in early-stage startups
* Degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field
Nice-to-have
* Prior work experience with financial or data products
* Proven interest in digital assets

Backend: Airflow deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service, MongoDB, Pants, helm,
Docker. Python + R
Frontend: React with TypeScript, Material-UI (MUI), React Query
