planning and preparation experience for high earners across the United States.
Combining modern technology with deep tax expertise, our premium membership
model will help clients plan, prepare, and optimize their taxes - efficiently
and proactively.
Our technology aims to give our tax advisors superpowers. We created a modern
web application to streamline all the inefficiencies in the typical tax
professional’s workflow, replacing manual data entry with automation, swapping
out manual spreadsheets with code, structuring all the client data so we can
identify innovative tax strategies across our entire client base, and using AI
to streamline communications back and forth.
We're working hard to create the best possible experience for our tax
advisors. By doing so, we believe we can unlock a tax experience that our
clients dream about: one that is proactive in finding all of the tax-saving
opportunities available throughout the year, modern in optimizing all of the
traditional and new ways they earn income, and responsive in giving them a
super-powered tax advisor at their fingertips.
Our team combines tax and financial service experience from CohnReznick,
Goldman Sachs, and UBS Wealth Management with technology expertise from
Square, Paypal, Microsoft, Peloton, Oscar, Cadre, and Zynga. The company is
based in NYC and backed by world-class investors including Fika Ventures,
Walkabout Ventures, and Bling Capital, who were early investors in companies
like Lyft, Square, Palantir, Instacart, Ramp, and more.
We’re looking for a Tax Manager to join our team and help deliver an
incredible client experience.
**What you need**
* Deep technical knowledge in reviewing individual 1040 returns and entity returns
* Experience working with tax software, including CCH Axcess, SurePrep, and Bloomberg Tax
* Ability to create custom tax projections and scenario models in a spreadsheet
* Strong communication skills to interact directly with clients and partners
* Desire to research all aspects of the U.S. tax code and pending legislation
* Comfort communicating directly with tax authorities as needed
* Capability to manage, train, and assign work to staff
* Interest in providing real-time feedback to the technology team so they work on things that optimize your time
**You 'll have support**
* Last year, our team successfully served over 100 clients with net worth ranges from $2M to $500M
* Our goal is to bring together all of the tools and modern technology that can let you focus on delivering an amazing client experience
* We have already automated many steps in the typical tax team's workflow from new client onboarding, engagement letters, pricing, payments, document request lists, emails, and more
* We have the capital to hire additional resources as needed to support you
