_Job Overview_
Facilitron Engineering’s department mission is to create elegant cloud-based
solutions that scale seamlessly and delight users by surpassing expectations
in both function and ease of use. As a member of the core engineering team,
you must possess excellent problem-solving ability and ingenuity, be
exceptionally detail oriented, and be able to function both independently and
as part of a larger team. In this role, you will work on the flagship SaaS
product, built on cutting edge technologies and utilized by thousands of
customers daily. Your key responsibilities will include working on all back
end features, such as developing and supporting RESTful APIs, data modeling,
system integration, and security. You will work closely with key members of
the engineering team. The ideal candidate will be results driven, possess
excellent organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
_Requirements_
* 3-5 years of experience developing enterprise grade Node.js web applications with MongoDB as the backend database.
* Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript / ES6
* Expert level understanding of distributed systems
* Experience building RESTful APIs
* Excellent knowledge of full web stack interactions
* Excellent communication skills
