Job Description
Join our innovative wellness startup as the Chief Technical Officer and become
a pivotal player in revolutionizing self-serve retail wellness experiences and
applications. Your technology will integrate our advanced, proprietary
wellness equipment within a user-friendly retail environment, driven by
cutting-edge software and hardware solutions.
### The Role:
As our CTO, you will spearhead the development and integration of our mobile
applications, web platforms, and retail hardware systems. You will perform and
collaborate on programming with outsourced teams and internal IT professionals
to ensure seamless deployment of our technology across all user touchpoints.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project management to
achieve technological excellence and product success.
### Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of our mobile user application, store manager web application, and merchant API integration.
* Manage the architectural setup and integration of retail location technology.
* Oversee the timely completion of the project which includes programming and managing 3rd parties to ensure that project milestones are met with high-quality outcomes.
* Drive the strategic planning of technology roadmaps, aligning with business goals for rapid scale-up.
* Mitigate technical and product risks, aiming to reduce them to near zero.
* Cultivate a culture of innovation and efficiency.
### Requirements:
* Proven experience as a software developer and unafraid of rolling up your sleeves and directly committing code, if needs be.
* Expertise in managing complex technology projects with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
* Strong understanding of mobile and web application development, hardware integration, and API services.
* Demonstrable success in leading engineering teams and delivering technology solutions that meet business needs.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in startup environments and agile project management is highly desirable.
